Cookie Policy

The rules relating to the use of the so-called “cookies” and other similar tools (web beacons / web bugs, clear GIFs, etc.) in the various devices used by users, was recently modified following the implementation of directive 2009/136 which modified the directive “e- Privacy “(2002/58 / EC) and the provision” Identification of simplified procedures for the information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies – May 8, 2014 “.

Cookies are small text files that send to the terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites at the next visit by the same user. Cookies are used to perform computer authentication, session monitoring and storage of specific information regarding users who access the server and are usually present in each user’s browser in a very large number. There are two macro-categories: “technical” cookies and “profiling” cookies. Only technical cookies are used on this website, ie those used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service “(see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Code). They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They are divided into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); analytics cookies, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site; functionality cookies, which allow the user to browse according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided. For the installation of these cookies, the prior consent of the users is not required, while the obligation to provide information pursuant to art. 13 of the Code, which the site manager, if he uses only such devices, will be able to provide in the manner he deems most suitable. The acquisition and processing of data deriving from the use of technical cookies is mandatory for consulting the website. If the user does not give his consent, it will not be possible to view the company website completely and correctly. Excluding technical cookies, the general rule for “The storage of information in the terminal device of a contractor or a user or access to information already stored” remains that of the user’s prior and informed consent (opt-in) . This means that all cookies that do not qualify as “technical” which, however, are more critical from the point of view of protecting the privacy of users, such as, for example, those used for profiling and marketing purposes, cannot be installed on users’ terminals. themselves if they have not previously been adequately informed and have not given valid consent in this regard. Having made this premise, it is reiterated that no personal data of users is acquired by the site in this regard. Cookies are not used to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are so-called c.d. persistent cookies of any kind, or systems for tracking users. The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe browsing and efficient site. The so-called Session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other IT techniques that are potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of users’ browsing and do not allow the acquisition of the user’s personal identification data. No computer techniques are used in any way for the direct acquisition of the user’s personal identification data. The so-called session cookies, once the connection to the website is terminated are not stored. Most browsers allow you to control, modify and prevent the installation of cookies through their preferences settings.

However, restricting the ability of websites to set cookies can compromise usability and prevent the site from functioning properly.
