The King of Cured Meats: Black Pig Prosciutto

Duration: 4 hours

An Italian prosciutto with something of an Iberian ham. Intense and savoury, not at all humid inside and with a fat that melts exquisitely. The pigs roam free, feeding on fresh grass, cereals, acorns, berries and roots.

Itinerary

  • The experience will start with a guided tour of the medieval castle and hamlet of Torrechiara.
  • Transfer to Medesano where Azienda agricola San Paolo is located. Visit of the farm with focus on the making of salumi (cured meat) with black pig. A delicious tasting of their products will close the day.

Cost

Cost per person: € 120.00 (2 people minimum)

The price includes: entrances and guided tours of castle and farm, tasting and health insurance.

Transportation is not included.
